Jetstart landed on the west coast once again for this year's San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival. It was a busy weekend of racing and there was no shortage of competition, especially from the Canadian teams. Jetstart finished a solid 2nd in the Competitive A Championship, behind the powerful Dragon Hearts Magnum for a Canadian 1-2 finish.
In the Womens division, Jetstart merged with another Canadian compatriot, Sudden Impact, and finished 2nd in the Womens Championship. In the Mens division, Jetstart and Sudden Impact ended up 4th in the Mens Championship. In the Masters division, Jetstart and Sudden Impact earned an impressive 1st in the Masters Championship. Lastly, the mixed crew pulled to another strong 2nd in the Visiting Team Championship.
Thanks to the festival organizers and volunteers for running another great event. Congrats to Dragon Hearts Magnum on their win and making Canada proud. Special thanks to our hosts, the Bay Area Dragons, and shoutouts to our fellow Canadians, Sudden Impact and Masters of D'Zone. Great racing everyone!
