The GWN Sport Regatta brought out some tough competition in NDC, Mayfair Warriors and the Grand Dragons for a nice day of racing this past Saturday.
Jetstart finished 4th in the Premier Mixed A Division 200m Championship, while also coming in 4th in the Premier Mixed A Division 500m Championship as well. The mixed crew kept things consistent, finishing 4th in the Premier Mixed 2000m Race. The Entre Amis women had a solid performance and earned 1st in the Premier Women 200m Championship and 1st in the Premier Women 500m Championship.

Jetstart landed in Vancouver once again and was looking forward to racing the top teams from the West - and it certainly did not disappoint.
After a hard fight to the end against the False Creek teams, One West, Kai Ikaika and the Gorging Dragons, Jetstart finished a strong 5th place in the Competitive A Championship. The team also edged out the Gorging Dragons to take 1st place in the Visitor's Cup. At the end of the festival, Jetstart participated in the popular Guts & Glory 2000m Race and finished 7th place.
It was an awesome weekend of racing. Special thanks to Tao Ti Phat Phish for hosting us - we had a blast hanging out with you guys! Lastly, thanks to all the teams, volunteers and organizers. Great job Jetstart!

Jetstart launched into the 2011 season with a big win at this year's Milton Dragon Boat Festival. Jetstart faced some tough competition this year in SRP, Hanelai, Old Skul'd and New College, but we finished 1st in each round of 500m races, 2nd in the 200m race and 1st in the 2000m race to finish as the overall points winner.
Great job Jetstart!
