 Jetstart was back in the West coast and enjoyed a healthy dose of racing and fun in Vancouver this past weekend.
Despite paddling in different weather conditions, water and boats, Jetstart finished a strong 7th in Competitive A Division Championship and 2nd in the Visitor's Cup Race. In the highly anticipated Guts & Glory 2000m Race, which featured the top 16 teams of the festival, Jetstart pulled to a 6th place finish without being passed by any other team. Great job, crew!
It was a pleasure lining up against the best teams in the West, including False Creek, Kai Ikaika and the Los Angeles Racing Dragons. Thanks to the volunteers, the officials, and all the teams for a great weekend!

Jetstart faced its toughest competition yet at this past weekend's Outer Harbour 3000m Endurance race, going up against teams like the Mayfair Predators, Hydrophobic Dragons, Big Fish and the Hammerheads. Jetstart finished 4th overall of 7 participating teams. Thanks to all the teams and the Outer Harbour organizers.

 The 2009 season opens on a high note as Jetstart successfully defends its title at the Milton Dragon Boat Festival! The team managed to shake off the early race jitters among a tough field of competitors and finished the day strong with 1st place in A Division Final, 1st place in the 250m race, and 2nd place in the 2000m race.
Way to go, crew!
