Jetstart truly had a Hollywood experience down in Los Angeles this past weekend competing in the Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival. Through sheer determination and an unwillingness to give up, the team was crowned champions after winning 1st in the Mixed A Division 500m Final.

Continuing the great performance, Jetstart also formed a hybrid team of Masters and earned a solid 1st in the Masters 500m Final. Next, the Jetstart men joined the men from the Bay Area Dragons and finished 2nd in the Mens A Division 500m Final. Lastly, the mixed crew paddled to a strong 2nd in the Mixed A Division 200m Final.

It was an unbelievable first trip to Long Beach for Jetstart. The team would like to thank the Aero Dragons for being such gracious hosts. We LOVED the food! Well done everyone!

The GWN Sport Regatta brought together some great competition this past Saturday, in a day that was filled with racing and... more racing. In the Mixed division, Jetstart finished in 2nd in the Mixed A Consolation 200m Final, 2nd in the Mixed A Consolation 500m FInal, and 5th in the A Division 2000m Race. In the Open division, Jetstart joined the MCC team and finished 5th in the 200m Championship Final, 5th in the 500m Championship Final, and 3rd in the 2000m Race.
